Looking for flights have been made a little easier with a bunch of sites scouring all the airlines for the best possible prices. Though the price of flying has seemed to have been going up. Here’s a couple of sites I’ve been using lately:
Edit: Also try Farecast which tries to predict whether or not the prices will increase or decrease in the next few days based on some kind of algorithm they designed.

Asian Americans are making strides in television. Albeit tiny strides, progress is being made nonetheless. On network television, shows like Lost, Grey’s Anatomy, and Heroes have Asian Americans as part of their regular cast. On cable, there are several startup networks looking to grab hold of the Asian American dollar, including Imaginasian, MTV World, and AZN Television. Will one of these channels draw more Asian American eyeballs and do what BET did back in the 80s? Time will tell…

Why do I hear about these things until after they happen? Sounds like a cool event and I probably would have gone to the one in New York. Unfortunately, it probably won’t come to Washington, DC. DC doesn’t have cool things like this.

With the reach of broadband and better encoding codecs, clear streaming video isn’t much of a problem anymore. This was an Internet eventuality that I foresaw…but I digress. There’s several free sites where you can upload any type of non-pornographic video that you’ve captured on your DVR or filmed yourself to show to the world. Google Video is a good place but You Tube seems to be catching on more quickly. Some really funny stuff that are creating global cult Internet celebrities. For example…
A few weeks ago I went to NYC to see SNL. Not as many people watch now as in the past because of it’s general suckage, but I witnessed the funniest thing to come out of the show in a long time. And because of the Internet, it can be shared.

Defamer is one of the Gawker blogs that gives commentary on Hollywood and celebrity but mostly makes fun of them. Not really meant to be taken seriously, it’s always good for a laugh.
